Receiving Attachments
  1. When you receive an email with an attachment you can:
    1. Click on the attachment and drag it onto your desktop or a folder on the server
    2. Double click on the attachment to open, or right click the attachment and select ‘Save As’

      c. Clicking the File Menu and selecting Save Attachments

  1. Sometimes you may receive an attachment that has been blocked. Outlook will receive a message on the email stating this. This is done to improve security and not allow access to files that viruses generally use. Eg .exe, .bat, .scr

If you require access to a blocked attachment then you will need to contact your local administrator for assistance to access the file.

1. Attach a picture of Denis to an email and mail it to a HSEAO colleague.

The pictures can be located by navigating to the District Data folder on the Server ... then Technology Adviser Folder... then the Denis Farewell folder

2. Save an attachment you have already received to a useful location on the server.

3. Drag an attachment you have received onto the desktop of your computer so you can work on it later!
