message up to 4Mb in size. In your message window you
can:
- Click the paperclip
icon on the toolbar

and select File

file from your folder/desktop straight onto the message
- The attached file appears in the
attachment field
Receiving Attachments
- When you receive an email with
an attachment you can:
- Click on the attachment and drag
it onto your desktop or a folder on the server
- Double click on the attachment
to open, or right click the attachment and select ‘Save As’
c. Clicking the File Menu
and selecting Save Attachments
- Sometimes you may receive an attachment
that has been blocked. Outlook will receive a message on the email stating
this. This is done to improve security and not allow access to files
that viruses generally use. Eg .exe, .bat, .scr
If you require access to a blocked attachment then you will need
to contact your local administrator for assistance to access the file.
