Creating a Contact
  1. Select the Contacts item from the navigation pane

  1. Add a new Contact by
    1. Selecting the new icon from the toolbar

    1. By clicking the File Menu, selecting New and Contact

    1. Pressing Ctrl + N
  1. Enter in the appropriate details for the user.

  1. Click Save and Close to exit and return to Outlook

Creating A Personal Distribution List

  1. Click the File menu and select New, Distribution List,
    or press Ctrl + Shift + L

  1. Enter in a name for your list then select members from the Address Book or create new contacts.

  1. Click Save and Close to exit and return to Outlook

TASK:

1. Create a couple of Contacts in your Contacts List

2. Send them a test email by locating them in the Contacts list

3. Create a distribution list
e.g. Collegial or family

hint: remember the person must be in your contacts list or the Global Address Book for you to add to a Distribution List
