- From the tools menu, select
‘Rules and Alerts’
- Click New Rule. You can
use a pre-defined rule using the template, or select to start with a
blank rule. Click Next to begin.
- Select any options you want from
the top window. Click the underlined links in the bottom window to enter
the data you want the rule built on. Continue through the wizard to
complete your rule. Name your rule when complete and click Finish.
- Your rule(s) will be listed in
the window and will execute in order from top down. Use the arrow buttons
to move rules up or down in order.
- You can untick a rule to switch
it off, but retain the rule for use at a later date. Only ticked rules
will actually execute.
- Click Ok to close the rules
window.
